From what I understand from the description, the Oxyblot seems to detect carbonyl groups introduced into proteins by oxidative reactions.We have the assay kit: -carbonyl-content-assay-kit-ab126287.htmlIt detects carbonyl groups in protein samples.So it looks to me like it's quite similar, but maybe you have to tell the customer to have a look at the protocol and see if that's what he wants.If the customer would like to test this kit on untested samples, I could offer them Abcam's Abtrial.
